At a young age, Alvin E. Jackson has
already accomplished the mastering
of rhythm and blues in the New Orleans
style. His techniques and enthusiasm
are all qualities that are a direct
result of his upbringing in New Orleans
by a loving and extended family. Al’s
grandmother owned the “Vet’s
Club” roadhouse where she booked
such nobles as Fats Domino, Lloyd Price
and Tommy Ridgely. This exposure influenced
Al to pursue a musical career that
has brought him tremendous success
and deemed him the nickname "Lil
Fats" for his indistinguishable
voice to Fats Domino.
