The Distractions
The Distractions are an eight-piece dance band featuring both male and female vocals, as well as a three-piece horn section. The band prides itself on being one of New Orleans’ best dance and party bands, playing ‘70-‘80s funk and disco, old school R&B, and other party favorites. Throw in rhythm, melody and the Incredible Dancing Horns and you have found your audio and visual sensation. The Distractions perform in clubs and festivals around the area, but their specialty is weddings. For your special day the band will learn a request of your choice for your dance, provided the song is feasible and enough notice is given. |
