  
Josef “Big Red” Arline grew up in Hillister Texas about 45 minutes north of Beaumont and 45 minutes west of Louisiana. Music has always been apart of his life dating back to his high school years. Those who listen to Big Red's music will notice a different style. Zydeco is known for it's hint of Rhythm & Blues but when listeners hear his music they will hear influences ranging from Reggae, Blues and Country infused in the notes.
Josef is a self taught accordion player and refused to listen to Zydeco during his learning phase. During his music career he has shared the same ticket with Bobby Bland, Percy Sledge, the Neville Brothers, Marcia Ball and Platinum artist Everclear. As his fans eagerly anticipate his third release in 2008, Big Red can be counted on to satisfy their appetite of the many flavors of Zydeco. |
