Deacon John

The name "Deacon" came from those early days when he opted a preaching style of singing that sent his audiences into what can only be called religious ecstasy, dancing, shouting, falling out on the floor, and throwing money on the stage. Deacon John and the Ivories concentrate on the Motown and Memphis Soul music as well as local Rhythm and Blues.
