EVENTS:
Xavier University Benefit Concert: This annual fundraiser is held at the Convention Center and raises money for the Dr. Norman C. Francis Endowed Scholarship Fund. Past performers include Al Jarreau, Bill Cosby and Men of Soul-Jeffrey Osborne, Howard Hewett, Freddie Jackson and Peabo Bryson. White Oak books and produces this spectacular event.
Railroad Revival Tour: Starting in Oakland and ending in New Orleans, the railroad train carried acts Mumford & Sons, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and Old Crow Medicine Show across the country stopping for performances along the way. White Oak site-produced the New Orleans concert in Woldenberg Park.
Soul Revival: In 2011, we will participate in this 1,000 guest fundraiser for our tenth year. This organ donor awareness event brings in entertainment that raises the tent at this revival. Past years have featured Liquid Pleasure from North Carolina and The Maxx from Atlanta.
USTOA Convention: New Orleans welcomed the United States Tour Operators Association into town this past December. Sheraton hosted the convention and ended with "A Taste of Louisiana." Performances included Charmaine Neville, Al "Lil Fats" Jackson, Sunpie & the Louisiana Sunspots, Treme Brass Band and the Wild Mohicans Mardi Gras Indians. White Oak booked and produced this convention.
Zoo-To-Do: The spectacular event is Audubon Zoo's Annual Fundraiser and the largest not-for-profit event of its kind in the country. Past performers include; Sister Sledge, The Village People, The Neville Brothers, The Spinners, K.C. & the Sunshine Band, The Temptations, Kool and the Gang, Smokey Robinson and more. White Oak books and produces this event.
PCMA: New Orleans went all out to welcome PCMA with a dazzling spectacle on the floor of the Superdome! New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau contacted White Oak to book entertainment. The crowd danced to the jams of the Neville Brothers, Irma Thomas and the Professionals and more!
Texas Roadhouse: Ed White has worked closely with the Texas Roadhouse Corporation to book and produce entertainment for their annual conference for 8 years. This past Big Apple convention featured the Texas Roadhouse Allstar Band starring: Jimi Jameson, James Hall, Tom Johnston, Steve Cropper and more. Past talent includes the Foo Fighters, Dwight Yoakum, Kool and the Gang and more!
