The mission of French Quarter Festivals, Inc. is to promote the Vieux Carre and the City of New Orleans through high quality special events and activities that showcase the culture and heritage of this unique city, contribute to the economic well-being of the community, and instill increased pride in the people of New Orleans. White Oak books this three-day event in mid-April featuring the best of Louisiana local artists including Charmaine Neville, the Radiators, Bonerama, Hot 8 Brass Band, Walter “Wolfman” Washington and countless others. French Quarter Festival is the largest free festival in the state of Louisiana and 2008 marks it’s 25th year in existence.
