After over thirty years in the entertainment booking and production business, we have decided to expand our offices. We have opened an office in Charlotte, North Carolina! Spearheaded by Becky Fradella, this venture promises to keep our business growing and providing many new and exciting opportunities for White Oak Productions and our clients! Conventions and Corporate Events

Texas RoadhouseTexas Road House Managing Partners Conference
March 31-April 4, 2007
St. Regis Resort, Monarch Beach, Dana Point, CA
Once again, White Oak handled all entertainment production for the annual Texas Road House Managing Partners Conference at the five star resort. Entertainment included KC and the Sunshine Band, Deacon John, Train, Collective Soul, and Five For Fighting.

ArenaBowl
July 27-28, 2007
White Oak Productions booked entertainment for the 2007 ArenaBowl for its first ever New Orleans appearance. To kick off the festivities, the Pin Stripe Brass Band and the Wild Mohicans paraded through the French Quarter to the Riverwalk Marketplace. Fleur de Lis, Soul Rebels Brass Band, and No Idea provided entertainment for the pre-bowl concert.

American Psychiatric Convention
October 13, 2007
White Oak produced and booked the entertainment for the American Psychiatric Foundation convention held at the Marriott. Entertainment by Dr. Michael White, Amanda Shaw and the Cute Guys plus Charmaine Neville provided the attendees with great New Orleans music.

International Association Chief of Police
October 15, 2007
The IACP made its way to the Superdome for an evening filled with food and fun! White Oak Productions handled the production and entertainment bookings for this great event in the Louisiana Superdome which was produced by Event Specialists/Renee Ganucheau. Performances by Bruce Daigrepont, Dwayne Dopsie & the Zydeco Hellraisers, Grace Darling, Treme Brass Band, Casa Samba, Soul Rebels Brass Band, and the John Ehret High School Marching Band brought a New Orleans flare to this prestigious event.


Sheraton Musicathon
October 24, 2007
Sheraton New Orleans MusicathonWhite Oak booked, produced and coordinated entertainment for the Sheraton's 25th Anniversary party on October 24th. Many thanks to Tommy Morel and his great staff for giving White Oak Productions the opportunity to produce this event! The star-studded program included performances by Luther Kent, Jean "Mr. Big Stuff" Knight, Rockin' Dopsie, Jr., Charmaine Neville, Al "Carnival Time" Johnson, and recent Grammy recipient Irma Thomas all backed by Bernard "Bunchie" Johnson's All-Star Band. Audubon Nature Institute

Swamp Fest
November 3-4, 2007
Festival goers enjoyed delicious Cajun and New Orleans style cuisine, local crafts, and, of course, incredible Cajun and Zydeco music during the two-day festival. White Oak Productions booked and coordinated the talent. The festival had an awesome line-up including BeauSoleil avec Michael Doucet, Dwayne Dopsie & the Zydeco Hellraisers, Bruce Daigrepont Cajun Band, Big Red & the Zydeco Playmakers, Amanda Shaw & the Cute Guys, and Rockin' Dopsie, Jr & the Zydeco Twisers. Special thanks to Cheryl Forschler and Mykal Muegge!

SEAlebration
August 1, 2007
Open to Audubon Aquarium members only, White Oak Productions booked Grace Darling, No Left Turn, and Washboard Chaz to entertain guests while they got an inside view of the Audubon Aquarium. Many thanks to Lani McWilliams!

Soul Fest
June 16-17, 2007
White Oak Productions helped book this event during the Father's Day weekend with the following talent: Hot 8 Brass Band, Rebirth Brass Band, and Philip Manuel to name a few.

The Satchmo SummerFest made its return to the U.S. Mint. In his role as Entertainment Director of French Quarter Festivals, Ed White and the White Oak team booked music for the three stages of the festival-Traditional, Contemporary, and Brass Band.

 

Black Catholic Ministries Gospel Music Festival
September 23, 2007
Put on by the office of Black Catholic Ministries of New Orleans, the very inspirational Black Catholic Gospel Music Festival featured 16 gospel choirs at Congo Square. White Oak Productions helped with site layout, stage management, and production coordination.

InterFest in Congo Square
September 29, 2007
White Oak Productions helped with site layout and stage-managed InterFest, which was a celebration of the various cultures and communities that have influenced New Orleans.

Voodoo Music Experience
October 26-28, 2007
Voodoo Music ExperienceWhite Oak Productions returned in its sixth year of working with Rehage Entertainment to help make this year's Voodoo Fest run smoothly. With the return to a three-day weekend of music, White Oak Productions' roll as Festival Services Director dealt with ground transportation, runners, Flambeau site area management, and more. This year's line up included Rage Against The Machine, The Smashing Pumpkins, Wilco, Dr. John, Irma Thomas, and many more.

New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival

The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Foundation, IncThanks to the relationship with Scott Aiges and Don Marshall, White Oak Productions teamed up with the Jazz and Heritage Festival Foundation to help produce the following festivals:

Six weeks of concerts featuring New Orleans Ladies such as the Charmaine Neville Band, Susan Cowsill, Gal Holiday & the Honky Tonk Revue, Linnzi Zaorski & Delta Royale, and the Pfister Sisters.

Congo Square Rhythms Festival
September 30, 2007
The Rhythms in Congo Square Festival was a celebration for the rededication of historic Congo Square located in Armstrong Park. This festival featured two stages with plenty of ethnic food and crafts available.

Crescent City Blues Festival
October 19-20, 2007
The great weather was a beautiful backdrop for this second year festival. White Oak Productions staged managed the Blues Festival in Lafayette Square in downtown New Orleans. We helped design the site and handled production as well.

Fiesta Latina
November 10, 2007
White Oak Productions helped to produce and coordinate site layout for this second year festival held at the Contemporary Arts Center (CAC). Two stages featured the best Latin bands and cuisine in the New Orleans area.

Other Events

Riverwalk Marketplace Go 4th on the River
BacchusRain subsided just in time for the annual 4th of July celebration at the Riverwalk. White Oak Productions booked, produced, and stage managed this event. White Oak scheduled Molly Ringwalds, Topcats, LA Spice, and Beatin Path for the entertainment.

Reds, Whites & the Blues
October 18, 2007
This annual fundraiser put on by the Foundation for Entertainment Development and the Gambit Weekly featured plenty of wine, food, and jazz. Thanks, Gloria and Margo.

Harrah's New Orleans
October 18-November 15, 2007
White Oak booked five weeks of dueling pianos at Harrah's Masquerade Room.

French Quarter Brass Band Parades
August 17-September 21, 2007
French Quarter Brass Band ParadesWhite Oak Productions teamed up with the French Quarter Business Association and Nash Marketing to produce the six-week French Quarter Brass Band Series in late August thru Mid-September. White Oak Productions booked the Soul Rebels Brass Band, Storyville Stompers, Pin Stripe Brass Band, Treme Brass Band, Bone Tone Brass Band, and Algiers Brass Band to participate in the 25 block parade. Jay-Ray & Gee and Bamboula 2000 were also booked for added entertainment.

New Orleans Celebrity Tennis Exhibition
September 14, 2007
The White Oak Team was on hand at the New Orleans Celebrity Tennis Exhibition match between Martina Navratilova and Monica Seles at the New Orleans Arena. We handled audio production and stage management for the Theresa Andersson's post-match performance.
