Mardi Gras Madness

BacchusEvents and Krewe Celebrations
White Oak spiced up this Mardi Gras season in New Orleans by booking and producing many premier Mardi Gras Krewe balls throughout the city. Some highlights included parties for the Krewe of Bacchus, Krewe of Tucks, Krewe of Muses, and Krewe of Centurions with entertainment by The Spinners, Dr. John, The Boogie Men, The Molly Ringwalds, The Radiators, and many others!

Showing the world that the spirit of New Orleans is alive and well, the Riverwalk threw its annual show at Spanish Plaza which was booked and produced by White Oak. Performances included Rockin' Dopsie, Jr. & the Zydeco Twisters and Wanda Rouzan & A Taste of New Orleans.

Conventions and Corporate Events

McKesson Empowering HealthcareNew Orleans
White Oak booked and produced two exciting events for McKesson Corp. The first took place at the Audubon Zoo on Monday, February 26 when the company came to the Big Easy for the HIMSS convention (Health Information Management Systems Society). Huey Lewis & the News headlined and Charmaine Neville opened the event. The second booking was on Sunday, March 25 at the Foundry where Comedian Mike Armstrong opened for Rockin' Dopsie, Jr. & the Zydeco Twisters.

Cerner Corp. was also among the exhibitors for the HIMSS convention. White Oak along with Carl Mack created a buzz-marketing campaign to draw attendees to the Cerner booth inside the Morial Convention Center. White Oak coordinated a crew of 15 people to lead three-legged and potato sack races outside the site to represent Cerner's presence. White Oak also coordinated a sidewalk chalk artist to illustrate two murals conveying the company's theme for the event.

Festivals
